HumanGate is self-hosted software that documents human oversight of AI decisions. It produces Certificates of Oversight™ that record who reviewed a decision, what they decided, and when. The software is deployed and operated on your infrastructure.
HumanGate does not provide legal, compliance, or regulatory advice. The presence of a Certificate of Oversight does not guarantee regulatory compliance. HumanGate documents that oversight occurred — it does not determine whether that oversight was sufficient for your regulatory requirements. Consult qualified legal and compliance professionals for guidance specific to your organization.
HumanGate does not make, influence, or take responsibility for any AI decisions or human review verdicts. Decision authority and liability remain entirely with your organization and your designated reviewers.
When you deploy HumanGate on your infrastructure, you are responsible for: server security, access controls, key management, backups, and compliance with applicable laws. HumanGate Inc. does not have access to your deployment, your data, your signing keys, or your certificates.
The hosted demo at demo.humangate.ca is provided for evaluation purposes only. It contains synthetic data and resets daily. Do not enter real, sensitive, or personally identifiable information. The demo is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee. We may modify or discontinue the demo at any time.
The evaluation tier (up to 5 seats) is free with no time limit. Pilot programs are governed by separate pilot agreements. No financial commitment is required during the pilot period. You may export all data and discontinue use at any time.
HumanGate, Certificate of Oversight, and the HumanGate shield logo are trademarks of HumanGate Inc. The software is proprietary. Your data, certificates, and signing keys are yours — we claim no ownership of any content you create using HumanGate.
HumanGate Inc. provides this software "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. In no event shall HumanGate Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or software after changes constitutes acceptance.
